The daughter of A.R.S. – Akhourian Mother and Child Health Center – keeps on constantly upgrading its activities and launching new projects targeted at the improvement of Armenian mothers' and children's health care in the Disaster zone and, particularly in Akhourian region.

Thanks to the on-going efforts by A.R.S., the Center is furnished with most modern medical equipment, has an self-reliant heating and power supply system, child care, gynecological, sonographic, mamographic and first-aid units, a modern laboratory, and a pharmacy store regularly supplied with the best pharmaceutical products from abroad.
